The Government Program Unit is one of the divisions affiliated with the Office of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs. It operates as part of the Scientific Affairs Unit and is responsible for monitoring various scientific and research outputs, as well as preparing and organizing all monthly activities of the colleges and centers. These activities are documented through forms completed by the Government Program Unit within the college’s departments, and after verification and data compilation, the activities are sent to the Ministry at the beginning of each month.
Mission
Enhancing the scientific level and advancing the educational environment by monitoring and documenting all activities related to scientific research, workshops, conferences, seminars, discussion sessions, and master’s and doctoral thesis defenses held at the college.
Tasks
- Collecting data and statistics related to activities and achievements within the performance indicators.
- Coordinating with academic departments and other units to ensure data integration and accuracy.
- Following up with all formations by recording their activities in a categorized Excel file specific to the Government Program.
- Monitoring the regular (monthly) implementation of the program.
Objectives
- Verifying the data and statistics related to the Government Program and submitting reports to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
- Monitoring the implementation of activities and projects related to the Government Program on a regular basis.
- Enhancing the institutional performance of the college through continuous monitoring, analysis, and documentation.
- Tracking and recording the scientific and research outputs of the college, including research papers, patents, and scientific books.
