Department of Accounting

It is one of the most important and leading departments in the language of business and aims to qualify graduates who are able to work in governmental non-profit organizations and private sector establishments by developing their cognitive and technological performance and integrating computers into financing operations and cash flows, as well as professional work in the field of self-employment.

It boils down to knowing the future indicators for the development of accounting science, dealing with crises and absorbing them, keeping abreast of the rapid developments of accounting activities, and the ability to absorb and apply them.

Preparing scientifically qualified graduates who have high competence in the field of accounting in line with the requirements of the labor market, as well as striving to develop the competence of faculty members in the department through interaction with Iraqi universities and local organizations and bodies in line with the development of accounting work.
